Actually was thinking about this the other day. Does Yahoo have the option for an auction draft? I know we talk about that once in a while. It would be interesting to try it one of these years.

Problem with an auction draft is getting everyone there for the draft. I think the snake draft is ok, personally.

Looks like we are up to 13 teams. So one slot left. I do not want to see the league go beyond 14 teams. I know there are a few here who would like a larger league, but I think 14 gives the best overall competition. It still leaves enough depth in the free agent pool and each team gets to play everyone in the league once during the regular season.

Did we have any issues from last season we need to address before this season begins? Also, with the increased number of Thursday night games how are we handling free agent moves during and after those games? Last year we all agreed that players from the Thursday night game could not be picked up until the following weeks free agency period started, once the game had begun, even though they were not technically locked by Yahoo. Is that how we want to handle it this year?

There looks to be 3 new owners this year. I know Freeport Monks are Draconi, but who are Whirlybird and Multiple Scorgasim? When we first began the league you were supposed to include part of your Lanys board handle in your team name. I know we now have players that are not actually Lanys board members so it's not always possible to tell who is who by the team name. So could we brief a intro as to who they are and who invited them. And if you are a Lanys board member could you possibly adjust your team name to include your handle.

I agree 100% about 14 teams and it will be locked as soon as we get there. Sent out multiple invites and some FB messages to former managers trying to get them in and got no response. Whirlybirds is Geaux Judd from last year, a guy I work with. Scorgasm is my brother in law, picked him up so with Khan's friend from work joining soon we should get 14.

I looked through the scoring and I don't think we had any major issues from last year. I will make a post about the Thursday games policy so everyone knows.

It would be nice if Yahoo could have individual free agents lock at time of kick-off and stay locked until waivers have run. I think that was the only issue from last year.

Yeah, only person we lost was Surcam. He finally messaged me back on FB and said he's out this year.

Last year, with the exception of Thursday games (for which we had a gentleman's agreement for that), free-agents did lock out at kick-off on Sunday. It was the 2010 season they didn't.

Yeah. My team needs help. Being fortunate to win games early has prevented me from being able to pick up any top waiver wire guys, that would help my team.

I would be willing to trade just about anyone to get help at RB.

Scam Newton has been figured out, you get in his head early and he pouts, sulks, whines and folds, took about 1/2 year for the NFL to figure it out but since midway from last season thru beginning of 2012 season he's the QB everyone thought he was coming out of college.

He just doesn't have it between the ears to be a big time NFL QB

I guess I get the "everyone has ridiculous days against you" curse this year.

I am just waiting on my catastrophic injury to hit. It never fails, I could be having a good year, bad year, or like this year a really lucky year, and in the final weeks of the season BAM an injury hits that cripples my team. It may not be to one of my players but to a player that is directly responsible for the success of my players.

Just watch it will happen.
