As for the thread, I have a minor update. I'm playing old DS titles on my Nintendo 3DS since all of the 3DS titles suck until they release their flagship stuff.

Not much time, but, I play a couple a few rounds of World Of Tanks a couple times a week.

Still doing eveonlin, spent 1.2billion isk today on skill books for caps-gallente dreadnaught for my main and rorqual skills for one of my alts and a bunch of industry/science skill books, those things bleed you dry.

Can multiple characters on the same Eve account train at the same time now?

Nope.

Easy enough once you hit around ~10 million skill points to never have to pay real money to play eve, so it's easy to maintain a couple of accounts.

Ive never played S. Commander 1, i found 2 for $8.99 so i snagged it up lol. I like it overall good game to play when i dont want to think about anything.

I see the Natural Selection 2 beta is coming along pretty well, though I'm afraid of hitting it like a crack addict.

I am using the Free 45 days to play some EQ.

LA Noire: Decent, disappointing ultimately. Nice production values. Stale story, repetitive gameplay.
Dead Rising 2: Fun, light, not the best game ever but entertaining and worth the rental.
Crysis 2: Phenomenal.
Halo Reach: Fun, franchise feels a little long in the tooth. Doesn't stand up to more modern games like Crysis 2 imho.

On the PC:
Witcher 2: May be the best game I've played this year.
Dawn of War 2: Retribution: Totally worth $29.95
Dragon Age 2: GOod improvements on the original for gameplay, story is pretty boring and I hate that you pretty much never leave the main city. Repetitive.

Got into Rift.
Was going to cancel my WoW account and missed the 3 month renewal by 1 day lol...so now I'm paid through the damn summer.

I'm playing lotro atm. If you preorder issengard (spelling is fucked I'm sure) you get a 25% exp increase on all toons up to 65 for life plus other bonuses that you can use now. It's pretty nice if you have alts that you want to cap out.

WoW, but would love to do some EQ again, good times. Id like to get the 1999 working for me and the kids but I seem to have trouble getting it to run.

Kronik was my wizzie back in the day pre Kunark, was lvl 22 when Kunark came out, I remember doing a CR for a friend back then you could loot their corpse (including Jboots) and deliver it to the player, they shut that feature down quick ; )

There are two time-locked progression servers that are very active on the original EQ. Velious has been out for almost 2 weeks on Fippy..not sure about Vulak.

I play Xbox, work 50-60 hours a week, and referee a women's roller derby team with what very little time I have left.

I quit LOTRO, played RIFT in a high-end guild for a while through the Hammerknell bosses, but I had to move my family and was offline for two weeks. Then when it was time to sign back in, I went... no. I had allied with a guild of dicks to get this far, and it was no longer fun. So now I'm not playing much of anything MMO-wise.

It's days like this I would kill for an MMO-champion-style "Tranthas Post Roundup".

I got a new laptop-- I still don't have internet access at home but I have opportunities in the evenings where I have access to the internet on a regular basis.

So, I am downloading LOTR Online. We shall see if I enjoy logging on just occasionally for an hour or two-- I've never played a MMO like that. At least this one is free to play.

Actually, wife and I have been playing LOTRO. The game itself is a bit...average. But the lore so far has been very enjoyable. For casual play? It's actually quite good.

I'm still lotro-ING it. Working up a champion atm and will hit Moria soon. Swtor weekend beta starts today so ill hit that up tonight. Mostly killing time these days between EQ and lotro while I wait for old republic.

Lotro is very casual-friendly, and subbing a month or buying points for premium is worthwhile if you like the game (even to stay as F2P later). There's a huge variety of things to do, and with a few exceptions the grindy parts have enough options to ease the pain a bit. I have a few chars on Imladris and it seems the population there is decent.

Moria is very well done, and pretty epic looking. I'd say it is worth it to stay with the game just to see it. Mirkwood is over too fast and a bit meh. So far Isengard is good, but there is basically no new group content until 75.

Sorry, I'm pretty busy nowadays -- but I'm still opinionated, so when I do show up, of course I have something to say on everything I find.

I'm playing Rift. Finally decided to give it a try about 3 or 4 months ago after having a few different people "nudging" me to play...when I finally got on, no one still seemed to be still playing.

I ended up forming a guild on Byriel, on the Defiant side, and it's been fun. The guild is very low key and really just a family/friends kind of guild...we'll never do much, but at least logging in is enjoyable and if people want they can PvP, do Rift runs, run Dungeons or Raid, etc. They've had some pretty cool events going on, playerbase "seems" to be on the rise, and they've had quite a few patches and updates in the past 3 months. I think 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6 major updates have all been released during that time.

If anyone had Defiant toons and would like to be in the guild, server transfers are free and almost immediate. If you get heavily back into the game and want more than we offer there are never hard feelings if you move on and friends are always welcome back.

Feel free to look me up at any time. I'm usually on as Necrotik, but if not I'll be on as Archaelin or Maligant.

If you guys are looking for a low-key guild that is just starting Rift Raiding, look for me (Gabbath) on Belmont. I am an officer of Pandora. We have a good core but are looking for more people. Our plan is to have a morning team (10am'ish server) and then an evening team (6:30pm server Tuesday and Thursday).

Even if you have completed the stuff, but are looking for a good group of people look me up.

I can't get the damn things to land long enough lol. All they seem to do is hover above me, blow fire or ice on me, and then zoom off. I've killed 3 or 4 now though..3 with a metric fuckton of arrows, the other with actual melee since he was kind enough to land.

Picked up this badass little Xbox Live Arcade game Fusion: Genesis. I've actually held off on Battlefield 3 while playing it. Rank 41 or something like that in BF3.

Rift just couldn't keep me in the end game.... EQ2 finally broke my back with the latest expansion. Beta'd SWTOR and really wasn't going to bite because of Rift but ended up pre-ordered last minute and have been very pleased. I think it is the most fun i've had in an MMO since PvP'ing on EQ2.

I dunno, guys. We said that about Rift, but the Lanys guild was a ghost town when I arrived.

I was playing Skyrim, but dropped it cold turkey when I got into the Dota 2 beta. No fault of Skyrim's, I still want to finish it but every time I sit at the pc I'd rather fire up Dota.
