62 paladin looking for places to solo... I quit shortly after PoP came out and know the game has changed a lot... any pointers?

If you have all the expansions, get yourself a merc first of all. Whatever gear you had will be extremely out-dated, go to bazaar and find some defiant gear (dirt cheap & drops everywhere) for your level, as well as a new weapon. If you find yourself low on plat you can get a bag of platinum off the loyalty npc in pok.

BoT will be your hotzone for your lvl, if too easy move to Tactics, if too hard go to Ssra. There's a npc in pok that gives quests for hotzones, can pretty much rinse and repeat those as you lvl, and move on to the next hotzone (they have 1 for every 5 lvls up to 80/85).

For mercs... eventually you'll want the healer merc, but it may benefit you to use a tank merc for a few lvls as they are pretty damn op'ed up to around lvl 65/70(ish..). Some helpful potions; haste, celest heal, clarity (type), bl health/mana regen, invis.

That's about all I can think of offhand atm, if on Tunare can send me a tell if you have any questions in game.

look up defiant armor (for your level) in the bazaar, that should get you OP and rdy to solo with a nice merc

If you have not gotten all the latest Expansions, do not get it from SOE, go get it from Amazon.

Play on Fippy or Vulak imo!
