Post subject: | Looking for a Notebook |
So I decided I need a new notebook, first thing is I truly hate any notebook with an oddball keyboard. I don't need extra keys crammed in spots where I hit them all the time when I want to hit a key that is normally there. It has to be a decent gaming notebook, as mostly it will be for games. I have been looking at the Valkyrie at ibuypower and it seems to have what I am looking for, but am open to other suggestions, would like to keep the price under $2500. http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Valkyrie ... ing_Laptop I am not sure which would be better to go with, normal HD, or go with a SSD HD, then would I need a second SSD for data? I needed a laptop for work related / school related tasks it didn't need to be huge beast. I got a Dell with a intel core duo, for $200 from dellauctions.com I know you are not looking for that, but for anyone who needs a decent refurb replacement. That website was awesome. In regards to your question a SSD would work for mostly everything, i would buy a compact external for all your files that do not need to run off the main HD. Setup the laptop to save everything to your external. Or use dropbox! |
