Yesterday my beloved Samsung 203B 20.1" LCD Monitor died on me it was the last of a pair that I purchased back in 2006. Today I broke down finally and went to the local best buy store and opened up my Wallet and Purchased a Hannspree HF237 23" Monitor and so far I am fairly impressed with it. I was cautious about the brand name knowing nothing about it so I went to multiple websites to find any reviews I could even on Newegg.com / Bestbuy.com which were more positive than negative.

I paid $200.00 plus taxes for it and I think I got more bang then buck and im happy!

Hanns-G has been around for awhile, used to see their monitors on sale at Frys a lot. Looks like you got a good one

"15-Pin D-SUB (VGA), HDMI w/ HDCP"

I love that it's easier to find good computer monitors with HDMI now, I have a few things hooked up and switch between them easily with the source button. In the past I bought a KVM Switch, HDMI-DVI, and varios sound cables to just get two things going but now it's easier. In fact I love my monitor because it takes in HDMI audio and sound(monitor has a small speaker not the best quality but better then no sound!)

I thought this was going to be about my friend's Monitor Lizard (named CRT) who set his cage on fire one day when no one was home and became a burned out monitor.

I have a co-worker who put on her Facebook status,

"My digital camera is almost out of warranty. Time to 'accidentally' smash this one and get a brand new one!"

I was rather amazed at how public she was with doing something that's, in my opinion, a very shithead thing to do.

I didn't get the extended warranty insurance at best buy so no go for that. Once i get paid just fork over the cash and find a lightly used one on ebay.

Why get a used one? New 23" 1080p monitors are under $200.

Hypocrisy is a funny thing. You don't have to admit it here, so you can enjoy your pride, but I'm sure you've lied about something you've taken back to a store at least one time in your life.

Yeah, it's an everybody does it mentality, but hopefully you understand that not everyone does it all the time.

I can truthfully say I can not remember ever doing this. Closest thing I can think of is shop lifting one time when I was in junior high (15 dollar item and felt like shit) and not reporting an accident when the other person said there was no real damage done.

People treat corporations as objects with out regard to how it effects real people.

Wouldn't jail-breaking an iPhone also treat a corporation as an object without regard to how it effects (affects) real people?
