I have not upgraded my computer in about 2 years, with the exception of a new hard drive.

Presently, I have a NVIDIA GeForce 5200. IT has a half gig of ram in it. It works fine for most of the game, but when I went to RSS last night I was almost frozen. Even with clip plane set to 5% and turning down my settings. I have the same problem in OOT.

I am running XP, and have 1 Gig of RAM. I am upgrading to 1.5 gig in a couple days, will that help?

Any suggestions for a reasonably priced upgrade?

Upgrade to 2 gig of RAM, it's cheap enough.

I'm going to assume you have an AGP slot.

Radeon 9800 pro is about as good as it gets for that. At least that I remember. There was a good Nvidia equivilent but I forgot which.

And never, ever, buy any card designated with MX.
