Looking to buy one of these, but I haven't been following the market at all, so I just want to verify there isn't a better alternative with you more knowledgeable folks.

I don't need a super top-of-the-line card; I'm only upgrading because I'm playing things besides WoW, now, so I actually need a decent card.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

AFAIK, that Radeon 4850 is 199$ and smokes the 8800s... there's a few threads around here about it I think

Yeah Visiontek is good, they have lifetime warranty if I am correct.

awesome! i'm going to be selling my motherboard and video cards (7900gtx x2) for about 150 in a month or so, hopefully help buy one of those vid cards.
