At least once a day I get a BSOD with the message nv4-dis is in an endless loop and Windows has shut down to protect the computer. I know my video card isn't the greatest but at the moment it is the best that I can afford, it is a GeForce 7600 GS, I bought it new 4 months ago. I have the latest Nvidia drivers for this card. I have uninstalled, cleaned the old drivers and reloaded the latest one, I tested the card on another system and never got the BSOD. It seems to happen when I first start to play EQ, yes some of us still do that, but after I restart the computer I can play all night and never get another BSOD. Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this annoyance?

Tried a previous version of the driver? How about loading them off of your install CD?

You may not be getting the absolute most out of your video card with the shipped OEM driver, but OEM drivers are usually known stable. Try looking for drivers from the card's manufacturer rather than from nVidia itself.
