I am having a small problem with a USB HUb. I installed a 4 port external powered hub and when I booted the computer it found the new hardware as a PCI Device but found no drivers so it is code 28 and doesn't work. I even tried plugging it iin with the computer running and it did the same thing. My computer no longer reconizes my digital camera no matter which USB port I plug it into, I uninstalled the camera software install the newest update and still nothing, I have a feeling the problem may be in the OS.The MOBO is a Gigabyte GA-M55Plus-S3G, running an AMD Athlon 64X2 4600+ Dual Core processor, with 2 gig of DDR2 Ram at 800 MHz, PSU is 600 watts. Can anyone suggest how to fix this problem?

I am sorry I failed to mention in my previous podt that the USB mouse, keyboard and printer function properly. I wonder if the camera problem is a corrupted files in the WIA portion of Windows XP. I have never tried to do a repair only re-installs so I haven't got teh foggest idea how to go about it.

What if you plug the hub in where one of those other devices currently resides?

Tried that with the same results, I even went as far as getting another hub same results as the earlier one.
