I bought a lexmark all in one on black friday. I can't find cheap ink for it anywhere. What do you all recommend for a cheap printer with cheap ink. My old epson I could buy ink for 4 bucks online. I never print anything major at home and don't really care if the printer breaks in a year or 2 cause they are so cheap.

shrug, for most printers it's cheaper to buy a new one than it is to refill it.

for cheapish refills, go to http://www.lasermonks.com -- however, I'm not sure you can get third party ink for lexmarks.

maybe refill kits?

Those printers are cheap enough to just go buy a new one. The problem is, they only fill the ink cartridges to about 20% when you buy'em. Lol.

Go to the Epson store online and get an RX680. About $129 with free shipping.

I really can't say enough about this printer, it prints directly to CD/DVD surface and looks incredible. Same for photo printing. It is a scanner, copier and printer all in one and prints DVDs in full photographic style in less than a min and text prints out in virtually seconds.

Ok, so go to Frys and buy a $99 refurb samsung laserjet. You'll get about 4k prints out of it and can refill the toner.

unfortunately not printing is not an option - I guess 4 dollar ink spoiled me. I will just have to look for another epson model like I had.

I just need something to print workorders, invoices, shipping labels and receipts - just normal b+W shit.

10 bucks a cart is not bad, but I would like to find cheaper. I guess I just don't like to spend money that doesn't need to be spent. How very unamerican of me.

That's of course 4 blacks and 10 colors. If you need only blacks a laser printer is more suited to you as stated before.

My dad works in the high speed digital duplicator business. Ha. I was able to get a Lexmark C750 from him for super cheap. The best part? Free toner cartidges. Granted, I don't print a ton (mainly use for school, but I print a fair amount for my daughter.) Ha.
