I have a few different things. Going back about 1990 or so, when I had an offer to buy "Frequencies" for cell phones. As I remember it, it was described to me back then, I could own the frequency and cell phone companies would pay to use my frequency. It would of cost me $1500 to invest in it.
Buying into Microsoft and Apple and Google would be major.
Back further, in high school(Around 1979), I wanted to take a night class in Data Processing and basic programing. My dad insisted that the family take a course on basic car repairs. I hated the class and got almost no use out of it.
