I definitely felt for him though... if someone had done something like that to me in my Everquest days, sadly I would have been devastated.

I'd be pretty pissed off if someone, especially someone I trusted, did that to me now, and I barely play anymore. I put a lot of time into that shit. If she has a problem with me playing she can either talk about it or break up with me.

But I agree with Fribs. It was probably a youtube stage where he was quitting and wanted to do something for internet lulz and also incentive to stay gone.

This is a setup

It was believable until she for some reason logs in and deletes 4 or 5 items from one char when she had just deleted the characters themselves seconds before...she then logs in and deletes the character after that. Makes no sense. Also this whole "this was his favorite one" "lets see what his reaction is" just smacks of fake-ness.

I dunno. Could be real but why the hell would he smash the shit out of his monitor like that when any player knows that even hacked, you'd likely get all that crap back. He never wondered aloud what happened, asked her what happened...etc.

Who punches and destroys a monitor for internet fake? I guess that's the only part that makes me go "real".

Other than what appears to be a new monitor sitting on the table in the back left. It's possible that he's that unhinged lol...but he doesn't even ask her if something happened, doesn't login that remaining char to see what happened, check his email....etc. Just trashes his own stuff.

If he's really that much of a nutjob, I'd be lookin for a news story where some guy beat the everloving shit out of his girlfriend when he figured out what happened.

Yeah fake as hell...She gave herself away knowing how to log in and delete the items. Whatever, it was not all that good anyway.

Also, why did she not give some random person all that gold he had on his char (there looked like a ton of gold too)? Since she knew a lot about how the game works lol
