Remember the Soap Opera? It aird in the 60's and 70's. Scared the hell out of me as a kid.

I just found out TIm Burton is doing his own version. First Vampire movie I think I will go see in a long time.
(I skipped the Twilight crap, never saw any of it.)

Another Tim Burton movie with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter in Makeup. I don't think anyone needed this.

Just saw it. It was actually a lot more serious than the previews lead you to believe.
It was OK.

Agreed. While I like both as actors....he needs to expand his list a bit lol.

My husband and I love Tim Burton and we agree he does need to expan his actor pallate. It's almost as if Tim Burton is a old man set in his ways and just doesnt want to deal with someone new. haha.

We havent seen it yet but ive heard people saying it is more serious than the advertisments lead .

I remember watching the show as a kid in the late 60's-early 70's. I cannot really remember it, but, the movie seems to have an air about it that stirred those hidden memories.

Better than Twilight!

The last movie Burton did that was any good was Big Fish, and he still couldn't get away from using Helena Bonham Carter. He's a one-trick pony, and his trick isn't very good, but because he uses Johnny Depp, the box office is good enough to let him do another one.

Basically what I'm saying is Tim Burton is literally the worst.

Yeah but no one goes to see his movies anymore because they're bad and the only way he can get a gig is by doing a bad job on the movie version of a bad cartoon that's popular with kids.

Also Shyamalan isn't too hard to spell, and this isn't 2003 anymore, so that is no longer funny.

I disagree. Sweeney Todd and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were both good, and both came after Big Fish.

Sweeney Todd was at best "okay" and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was fucking horrible.

Well I really enjoyed it. To each his own, I guess.
