Alright, I love this show. Been watching since it came out. I own every season on DVD. Last night, however, pissed me off something fierce.

What the fuck? Kutner kills himself? The one guy I related to more on the show than anyone else, and the best they can do for him is he commits suicide? I was shocked at first, now I'm just angry. I realize the actor is moving on to other things (he's joining the President's staff, for real), but they could have done a dozen other things with the character.

They're pretending as if him killing himself was meant to be this huge shocker and that no one was supposed to see it coming, but it really comes off as lazy writing. A major character kills himself with no known reason, no hint of depression or suicidal tendencies. No clues at all that it was coming. It's stupid. I don't think a television show has ever pissed me off the way this one has. Anyone else feel the same way, even a little?

This season has been hit or miss as far as House is concerned anyway, but yeah...that was a little "What the fuck?!"

He was probably one of my favorite characters and I was disappointed to see him go but it was his choice. I've seen here many times people complain about a given show that is too predictable as well.

I'm hoping that there's more to the story than a simple suicide.

They've already ran people qutting/getting fired into the ground, so killing him off was the only way they could have done something new or interesting to get rid of him. Literally every other character on the show has had some multi-episode arc about leaving, and they always end up coming back. If they didn't kill him it would have been way more unsatisfying to me.

House has been pretty lackluster the last season and a half or so. They've gotten away from the parts of the show that made it great in the first place, especially the clinic hours and diagnosing people by breaking into their houses. All the replacement doctors have been bad, and the only redeeming plotlines have been focused around House, Wilson, and Cuddy. They really need to bring back Chase, his note on the Fox site completely confirms it.

I watch House online, but I'm behind by almost the whole season at this point.

When I last watched it, I still enjoyed it!
