No, no, no, no, no, and a thousand times no. How could they ever even THINK about trying to remake or modernize Larry, Moe, and Curly? You can't do half of the stuff that they made so funny. This is one project that I hope gets pulled.

It's the Three Stooges. Even if it's a movie about raping a horse, it can only be an improvement.

It's kind of like all those celebrities making Oceans 13, which was a fucking godawful movie filled with a huge cast that mostly just partied when not filming.

I can't see how this could be funny. I really don't.

I don't like Jerry Lewis's comedy either.

I'm in the same boat, Tarot. Stupid humor has never really appealed to me, and physical comedy is the essence of stupid humor. I hated Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, the Mask, and pretty much anything Jim Carrey did for years. I've never liked the 3 Stooges, either.

I much prefer Laurel and Hardy. That said, though, while I'm not a big fan of Jim Carrey, I thought his role in The Mask was perfect for him.

(And unless I'm mistaken, isn't that Jeri Ryan singing in the Cuban Pete bit?)

From that era I prefer the Marx brothers, but the Stooges are pretty great.
