OK, so coworker and I were discussing random things, and I was explaining (or trying to explain) a piece of music I played with a band workshop years and years ago...and I can't remember the title.
Basically, throughout the piece, musicians make "mistakes" (intentionally)...like a tuba starting to play a different tune or whatnot. I can't explain it better than that. I played it about 10 years ago...so it's a bit foggy. But I was telling him about odd musical arrangements (such as John Cage's 4'33"...no, I've never "played" that one :p), and it came to mind.
Anyway, I know the info is vague, but I'm sure someone here can think of it! I have faith in you.
