Probably more suited to the type of person that enjoyed Buffy, but I think it goes a little darker and that might draw more in. Easy investment, the first "season" is only 6 episodes long + the pilot.

Basic premise: Vampire and werewolf meet up through an incident, decide to depart from their respective worlds and try to build a life for themselves as "normal". They rent a house that happens to have the ghost of a young woman that died there. The three of them end up sharing the house and embarking forth on the not so little task of "being human" while dealing with their own personal demons. The vampire dealing with his past and fighting the predatory cravings, the werewolf trying desperately to keep the "wolf" from invading his personal life in any way, and the ghost trying to figure out why she's still here...what business she left unfinished. Their personal quests get very mired up in a vampire plot to take over the world through massive recruitment.

Russel Tovey plays the werewolf and is awesome. They ditched the original vampire and ghost from the pilot, and while I liked the vampire in the pilot more, the one in the series has grown on me. The ghost was just an improvement hands down from the pilot.

I hope it gets a second season. It is just the right mix of funny, serious, and reflective to appeal to me.

Worth watching in my opinion. Those of you that use newzbin will be able to find all 7 episodes without a problem.

Absolutely worth finding and watching. One of the better TV series I've seen in quite a while, with a good mix of character development and plot.
