Wrapping up season 1 of weeds, have the others on order from Netflix.

I sorta enjoy it, but it's definitely hot and cold for me. On one hand, I like the music and a lot of the dialog. I enjoy some of the situations.

I have a bit of trouble suspending reality on it, but I get through. Overall, it's fun, disposable entertainment.

Definetly not Dexter

Nope, definitely not Dexter. Season 1 and 2 were cool. Season 3 BORING. Season 4 picks up a bit, especially towards the end.

I have only watched 3 Showtime series so far. Dexter, Californication, and Weeds. Of the three, Weeds is by far the least interesting. It's an OK premise, just not all that well executed, I guess. It never really grabbed me at all.

We are haflway through Season 2 now - and I love it. I like this a lot better. I feel it is funnier and has a better story arc.

It's on Blu Ray, which helps.
Also, this is the first disc I've found that is in 7.1 surround... which is sorta ridiculous. 3:10 to Yuma, 300, and other action movies are all variations of 5.1, but a sitcom of mostly dialog is put out in 7.1 wee.

The chick is hot.
