I have an LG eNV2. I was looking at the 3G iPhones late last summer, but I couldn't justify the extra cost for the phone itself and the data plan. I couldn't stand texting with a standard keypad though, so with the qwerty keyboard this was a nice alternative.

Although the Palm Pre does look pretty sweet. The next time my cell contract is up I'll look in to them, or the next generation of Android phones that should be available by then.

I have an iPhone, though I prefer the G1, and would buy one from google's development program if it would connect to AT&T's 3G.

I still use a razr. I don't really need the data services enough to motivate me to change my plan, and I've never had a problem with my phone. It's durable and flat and small. I will probably get an iPhone when my contract is up though.

Blackberry 8800 Software modded so it runs a lot faster then standards of the same model line. Even the curve, im happy with it.

I as well have an LG env2. My wife and I use a lot of text messaging but when it came to trying to do it on older phones without a QWERTY keyboard, 1 sentence took me like 2 minutes to type out. Originally I had an env1 that Sola gave to me after he left VZW but I upgraded to the env2 back around August...and I love it.

I'd get something like the Samsung Omnia or HTC Touch but VZW requires all PDA/Smartphones to have a data package added to your calling plan. That wouldn't bother me if the data package didn't cost $29.99 extra per month...
