Quote:
"Iron Man: Armored Adventures" launches Marvel's newly crowned box-office king Tony Stark on to the small screen, and in 2009, the first 26 animated episodes will begin airing on Nicktoons.

Tony Stark, heir to a billion-dollar corporation, lives a life of luxury, free to pursue his chief interests—seeing extreme thrills, solving scientific mysteries, and creating mind-boggling inventions.

But everything goes horribly wrong when a tragic accident robs Tony of his father and nearly costs him his own life. Now dependent on his own amazing technology for survival and dedicated to battling corruption, Tony must reconcile the pressure of teenage life with the duties of a super hero.

Inside his remarkable invention, Tony Stark is geared for high-speed flight, high-tech battles and high-octane adventure! He is IRON MAN!

Although, we are still months away from its Nicktoons television début, you can be the first to see an episode of "Iron Man: Armored Adventures" at the San Diego Comic-Con.

It's one of those great fallacies that, in order to make something for kids, the characters all have to be kids.

Edit: Even in the library I work in you can see this. There are tons of series of books (Harry Potter included) where one half of the series is in the kids section and the other half in adult or young-adult. Why? Because the characters in the book aged, so they were deemed no longer suitable to be "kids" books.

Ewww, the animation looks horrible. Star Wars: The Clone Wars looks better than this in comparison. =x

This isn't Japan, this isn't adult swim, nostalgia is never REALLY what you remember it to be.

Cartoons are made for, and AIMED at Children these days. If you're an adult and you don't like it, too bad. You aren't the one the cartoon was made for. Any more than a rated "R" movie is aimed at 8 years olds (Despite what we as adults might wanna believe about the bad writing and acting).

Don't like it? DON'T WATCH IT. Problem solved for you.

*ahem*

Is this where I jump in and mention that Ultimate Iron Man, written by Orson Scott Card, was mostly about Tony Stark as a kid and teenager and was well-written and generally got good reviews? Because if this is where I jump in and say that, just assume I did.
