This is the guy from Police Academy. I saw him live at a comedy club about 4-5 months ago. Was watching Family Guy for a minute and made me think of him.

As an FYI, never pay to see him. He is the worse headliner I've ever seen. He did a lot of the sound effect stuff, which was mildly amusing. But overall he was simply awful.

I have no point other than I was thinking about seeing Screech live. I have heard he is just as bad. Anyone lucky enough to have seen him?

I've hung out with Screech before at a bar in Milwaukee I wouldn't recommend it. The guy is a total douche. He might be funny as a comedian but I highly doubt it.

I've seen Youtube (or something) videos of Screech doing stand up. it wasn't pretty.

any good comedy clubs in the cinci area?

I want to say I saw him at Go Bananas... it's in the northern Cinci area. Honestly, I don't know how to get there. I just ride with people.

In Newport there is the Funny Bone.

Dayton has the lengendary Wiley's (sp?).
I think they've built or are building a Funny Bone.

Go bananas a nice place? We live about 5min from there.

I hate dealing with Newport (especially at night). Couple of years ago we lived down there, well within walking distance. We were in the licking river historic district. Friday or Sat night on the levee - forget about it. Too many people.

I wouldn't call it nice, but it's doable. Minimal traffic, slightly decent prices. I have never really been to a Comedy Club I considered "great". It's simply a matter of the talent they bring in. /shrug

Honestly, what I have found is that you have a lot of success with no-name comedians. I have found that most "famous" comedians suck unless they got famous via real stand-up (like a lot of the Bob & Tom guys).
