Ive heard this song a few times, and for some odd reason it reminded me of another group. The song doesnt sound anything like the other group, just the way the lyrics are said, just has the same sound to it or something, hard to explain. I didnt know the group or anything and looked it up by lyrics. Found the guy, and found that he has connections to the group I was thinking of, as he has appeared on a couple of their songs. What are the odds? So anyways just checking to see if anyone else might think the same as me. Going to link youtube videos for both groups, dont check the group in the 2nd video til you listen to the first. Im probably just nuts.
Just the first 2 lines of the song make me think of the other group.

lol.. i thought the same thing as Nananea before I scrolled down....
It doesn't really sound like soul coughing, but it does a bit - like the second little verse in the first video he did something with his voice that reminded me of soul coughing.
