So, I'm lucky in that I live across the street from the Paramount theater here in downtown Denver. A few months ago, I noticed the flyer showing Eddie Izzard coming to town for two days. Being an enormous fan of his previous shows (as well as his acting roles) I immediately snagged tickets. I'm glad I did cause this shit sold out FAST.
Fast forward to today, and I'd gone to the show last night. It was fucking AMAZING. He had to have gone over at least an hour from the "standard" time. The riffs this cat goes on range from cryptic and hilarious to pythonian bizarre. If you get a chance to see him for this American tour, DO IT! You won't regret it, and you can almost be guaranteed you won't see the exact same show as someone else.
