I thought they have went overboard on the F-bomb but other than that i'm a huge Ferrell, McKay, and Reiley fan. This movie had some really funny stuff in it.

Yup, Stranger Than Fiction was a great movie.

It's popular to hate on Will Farrell, so it's not surprising a person like Krby would pop in here and shit on him.

I liked the movie too.

Some Will Ferrell stuff is beyond hilarious, so much so that it brings tears to your eyes just listening and watching.

Some Will Ferrell stuff is beyond childish, so much so that it brings pain to your heart just listening and watching.

Some Will Ferrell stuff is just mundane, repetitive, and grows stale very fast.

I am not the Will Ferrell fan that gets a hard on when I watch anything that he is in... nor am I the Will Ferrell enemy that automatically disses and denies anything that he is a part of once I see his name. I personally have no desire to watch Step Brother, so I am glad that some people think it is funny... and others think it isn't. Woo.

PS- I really wanted to watch Semi Pro. However, after having several friends rent it on DVD and say that it is the "beyond childish" description, I think I am going to pass...

It seems to me that he puts out two or three movies that fit these descriptions for every one that is comedy gold. I thought his part in Old School was great. I am suffering from burnout. They put out two or more movies a year with him in it and for the most part it is the same thing (Blades of Glory, Semi-Pro) and that is what I am tired of.

Hey...I never said I hated all of his movies. Stranger than Fiction was excellent. I just wish he'd choose to do more like that one instead of the lowbrow crap.

Blades of Glory and Semi-Pro sucked, but now you're asking for everything he makes to be a blockbuster-funny-as-pepperoni-titties-goldmine, and that's simply not ever going to be the case. Don't forget that Al Pacino was in S1m0ne. Nobody's perfect.

Blades of Glory was pretty good, much better than Semi-Pro.
