It is Disney. It is Pixar. So you expect it to be great before you even see it. Then you see it, and it becomes... a film masterpiece. Mass appeal to all shapes and sizes, race and gender, old and young. One of the threads on some message board said that if you do not like this movie, then you have neither heart nor soul.

So I saw it. With high expecations and hopes. And...

It delivers. Big time. One of the best movies I have seen. Really no other way to put it. Won't say it is #1 for me, but definitely one of the best ones...

All I get to see are kids movies nowadays, and this is one that I actually want to see. Going to take my 4 year old to it sometime this weekend. Can't wait.

Pixar is just wonderful, big fan of them. I saw the trailer for this movie and was really impressed. Glad to see it delivers.

I have to agree, the movie is just amazing. From the first shot until the end the guys over at Pixar really deliver. Their stuff is not just entertainment for kids, they are true pieces of art. I really enjoy the studio so it is no surprise I liked this movie, but I do think this is the best I've seen from them.

I will go ahead and also say that this has been probably one of the best science fiction movies that I've seen in quite some time. I would put it up there next to some Science Fiction classics.

That was one of the best animated movies I have seen. Really delivered. I was so happy to see it with my family, very funny, cute, and touching.

I really enjoyed this movie. The only thing I didn't like or I should say felt out of place was the footage of the CEO.

Saw it with my 4 year old. It was really, really good. Pixar puts out some amazing movies. Nice to see a kids movie like this that transcends our time. You could watch this in 50 years and it would still be good... unlike movies like Shrek, which are so laced with pop culture references it gets dated fast.

Me and Christopher saw it tonight, really really loved the movie... BnL reminds me of Walmart and Mcdonalds mixed into a Costco though. :0

My almost 3 year old daughter has been hyped to see this movie for about 3 months. So we went yesterday to see it. She fell asleep in the first 15 minutes and woke up with 10 minutes of the movie left. (She'll still tell you it was good) I guess she'll really see it when we pick it up on DVD. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I am very surprised this movie is this good. It looked terrible on the previews.

So, now that my interest is peaked would a 2.5 year old be able to watch this or is it just a bit too much?

As much as any Pixar movie really. It's kind of one of those kids-movies-that-are-really-for-parents things that Pixar has become famous for. The animation is top notch and the characters are appealing, so the kids are drawn to them(my daughter is still talking about Wall-E and "Eva" a week later), while there's plenty of humor for the adults along the way. It's entertaining.

Though, I will say it was a wee bit heavy handed for me to REALLY love. I enjoyed it, but more for the cute characters than the actual story. I got a little bit of a "tried too hard" feeling from it that I don't get from what I consider to be the really great Pixar movies. Still worth watching though.

The story over all was wonderful. Cute, everything.

The message was obnoxious. As a friend of mine said "more liberal tree hugging crap."

The pet roach bugged me. Every time it was on screen, I cringed.

lol.. I thought the roach was 'cute' and I *hate* bugs..

Kind of like the Volleyball in Castaway, needed it for some interaction.

the whole damn theater gasped when he crushed the roach the first time, it was funny to see it spring up and everybody sigh in relief.

Was a cute film, would have liked more of an ending but it was still good.

It's amazing how they can make a roach cute

The only reason they used a roach was because it can survive anything. That and Twinkies of course.

Yeah, I understood why they used the roach. I just have a strong...aversion...to roaches. Ugh. It was never cute to me...
