So, I just purchased a new digital SLR (Olympus 510 with some extra lenses and accessories in case anyone is wondering) and I'm looking for a good site to read about how to properly edit photo's etc. I've obviously messed around on my own in photoshop, but basically am just looking for some of the techniques people use to touch up photos.

If anyone knows of any good photography oriented image editing sites or something along those lines, I'd love to check it out!

What sorts of things do you want to do with your digi photos? Maybe just some all around photoshop tutorials would be best for you.

I think you're getting a little bit too big for your britches. There is absolutely 0% possibility that these forums would ever be targeted for piracy or posting a handful of links to torrent sites. Get over yourself.

The rules are there as a "just in case" measure. I happen to know that the company Cak hosts with has a strict policy against anything involving illegal downloads of music, movies or software, since I also host with that same company. If one of their admins decided to run an random audit, Cak's hosting account could get shut down, and I don't think any of us want the boards shut down, now do they?

Thank you for the suggestions. I hadn't thought about using torrents to maybe get an ebook or two, but have got a couple good ones to look through in my limited spare time. Thanks for the suggestion!

Also - that forum seems really good, Aust. I've found that I learn quite a bit just by looking at other pictures seeing how others have achieved certain effects, what settings etc. There's a lot of people posting pictures there for me to study! So thank you!
