You'd have been hard pressed to find a larger Joss supporter a few years ago. Heck, even Dr. Horrible was fun. Doll House? He lost it. From the casting, to the writing, to the ultimate execution. This show deserves to go off air because it sucks.

Well, you've already expressed that you disliked the show. But you seemed to feel the need to pop back in and tell everyone again that you disliked it. And I don't really care about Joss Whedon. I never watched Buffy or Angel or any of that crap, and I didn't see Firefly until after Serenity was in theaters. So it's not about Whedon. It's about this show, which some of us appear to enjoy and are disappointed that it's likely being canceled, and which you seem to feel it's your duty to trash.

Not to mention that you lost any credibility when you said you hated (HATED) the new Star Trek movie. Like I said, you sound like "Contrary Man."

I spoke up because since my last post, people in real life/the net/here had claimed the last few episodes were the "magic life saver" of the show and really amazing. I disagree. I shared that opinion.

Try as you might, you won't shut me up. You can talk all day about losing credibility and I'll just laugh at you, of all people.

I'll agree that two of the cast members were poor choices - the guy who plays Topher and, of course, Eliza Dushku. However, many of the other actors are really, really good. I've been extremely impressed with the breadth of guy who plays Viktor.

Is it Whedon's best show? No. I think Firefly was better. And though I truly enjoyed Buffy and Angel, I can't really compare the two to Dollhouse. They were a bit campier. But Dollhouse *has* gotten better in my opinion. And that's all it is...opinion. And when stuff like this is concerned, no one's opinion is worth more than someone else's. Some like it, others don't. Hell, "According to Jim" is still on the air, and that's universally disliked by TV critics. In fact, I've never actually met a fan of the show. But others have differing opinions, somehow, because the stupid show keeps getting renewed while shows that I like more get canned instead. *shrug*

Gosthok - we do know whey Caroline is in the Dollhouse. We saw it a few episodes ago. The episode where she goes to the college campus and has flashbacks about her time on it.

Nah, he bugs me. The *only* time I actually liked him was when he and the bosslady (dunno her name) were high. When the camera turned and he didn't have pants on, I fell out laughing.

Otherwise, meh.

I liked the character from the start, but I actually started to empathize with him during the episode he had Sierra as his "friend." It was actually kinda sad at the end there, when you discover what the whole point of the day was.

And, yeah, we have an idea as to why she is there. But, I feel there's more to that. I dunno. =o

It's all good, dude.

I will say, on a positive note, there was one thing I found interesting in the finale. The fact that we know now who Topher was resurrecting for his sporadic "date nights". The how and the why of it won't ever get explained, but at least he gave the fans that.

Word has it that Summer Glau will be joining the cast of Dollhouse. Whedon apparently approached her before SCC was canceled as a "just in case." And he doesn't want her as an active. Says he's got a different role in mind for her.
