Before I throw down the cash to buy a machine to play this game on, I must ask one more question. Hopefully someone that is in beta can give me a good answer. Will I be able to play well with an 11kb/sec connection? I do fine playing EQMac with that much bandwidth, so I'm hoping SWtOR won't be any worse. Any ideas or thoughts (other than my connection here in Afghanistan sucks balls)?

Not that I would have ANY idea about SWTOR's packet interactions...but if I did, I would say you'll be serviceable, but in a world of hurt in some scenarios. Don't expect to be raiding anytime soon.

You'll probably have some significant issues in highly populated areas (Imperial Fleet especially) and you might have trouble in Flashpoints.
