I reactivated to give the new patches a try on the free 10 day reactivation.

I cancelled again less than an hour later.

I reactivated a 10 Day as well to give the game a go with the new classes.

I haven't played a Blackguard or Knight of the Blazing Sun, but from what I've read they're both a wash...

I'm glad to see the Choppa/Slayer (formerly Hammerer) fixed. Before they were pretty much unstoppable, but now with the self debuffs they get after using Berserk Abilities it seems to even them out...though don't pull agro on a Champion/Hero or you're going to die due to having a 50% reduction in your defenses.

I still wish there was more to this game past hitting the level cap. I'm not saying that they should make the raiding content in WoW or EQ2 or anything like that...but there just simply is nothing to do at max level but grind the same Scenarios over and over again or pray to God you can keep RvR Objectives capped for more then 2 hours at a time.

I went back when Slayer was released. Haven't been reading the patch notes. I do see quite a lot of goodbye posts on the WHA server forums though. :P I got bored with the queue times, RvR was happening but Destro didn't want to fight being outnumbered, which is pretty much the opposite of what happened at release time.

Did they ever improve the graphics to not look so rough? Cloak/helms reappearing? Pulling through doors with magnet? I already read WE got hefty nerfs and are pretty much weak witch hunters with no ranged closers and can't even drop a healer.

I noticed on 3 of my characters (Lvl 15 Engineer, Level 21 Marauder, Level 5 Slayer all on different servers) that the queue times were fucking terrible all around. I think on the Slayer I spent a good hour an a half in queue before finally getting in a Ekrund. About 40 minutes on the Marauder for T3 and about an hour for T2 on the Engineer.

It seemed to me that people were more concerned with capping RvR stuff then scenarios at low levels. I'm sure if I had a Lvl 40 I'd be able to make an informed judgment on the high end, but I got the feeling from reading the boards that its pretty much the same there as well. Scenarios have long ass queue times and RvR is just a game of touch tag back and forth until someone manages to take over Praugg (or whatever that middle city is called) and a City Siege starts.

And that's the thing that kills me. The city sieges sounded awesome from the very beginning, building up to it is such a metric clusterfuck it barely seems worth the effort in the end.

I have been out of the game for over 6 months...how are things in Warhammer? Any good changes and better PvP?

Anyone still playing :)

Left... played EQI for a bit and ended up going to EQII for some PvP. Actually a lot of PvP action on there again. I know Xolar and Zero are back on EQII as well.

I was thinking about replaying the game, but I am not sure which state it is in right now. Sad, I had high hopes for Warhammer when I first heard about it.

They are down to like 2 or 4 servers, and of those people still complain about server pops.

Wow sad to hear. The game was not all that bad really, just did not work like planned. The Keep raids were fun at first, but very unbalanced due to numbers vs zergs.

I'd attribute the dumb fucking lag as the reason for its sorry state more than any zerg issues.

It's good tier 1 is free because its the only part of the game worth playing.

Yes I do agree with you Givin. Teir 1 was a blast compared to the laggy battles in other tiers. So bad I could not MOVE in the Keep rooms. It was not fun at all.
