I am done fooling around with these and have moved on to another test bed so I am offering these to Lanys people before I put them on Ebay on Friday. I have 2 Sapphire HD 3870s w/512m memory for sale. $235 each. $450 for the pair. All cables, manuals etc. included. You pay shipping. Both cards have an aftermarket DuOrb cooler on them that cost $49 apiece. The DuOrbs are included in the price. Each card has had the original fan removed and the GPU cleaned and the crap thermal grease removed and replaced with Arctic silver 5. All memory chips were cleaned are covered with individual heat sinks and held on with Sekisui thermal tape. The cards run in the low to mid 20's on my systemat Idle at 75% fan speed and never get over low 40's at max load and are super quiet. (Your temps may vary with yours depending upon how good your case moves air.) |
