We have over a hundred DVDs we are trying to sell - have any of you used http://www.mx123.com/buy_index.php or any other online DVD buyers? We were going to ebay them, but there is way too much supply at ebay. - and having to deal with 130 customers can be a headache.

What about blockbuster or something like that - we don't want store credit though.. cold hard cash -

We have the "exchange" here in Ohio, LOVE it! Great place to get a bunch of dvds for nothing.

hey, what are ya getting rid of? I can always use some more movies.

ebgames/gamestops buy dvds but not for cash only in store creditz. which is fine unless you need to buy drugs. so, you need cash -- thats a no go.

pawns shops too.

dvds dont have high resale values. alternatively, maybe sell them via paypal through these boards.

I haven't typed up a list yet.. there are about 130 - things like LOTR, 50firstdates, DieHard.. nothing special

Where in Ohio? I am in Cincinnati but go to Columbus on occasion and am going to be in Dayton on business next month.

I think you should keep them, as punishment for buying 50 first dates on DVD.

Is there a reason since switching to the new forums we cannot have a Swap Meet forum like say, the SA forums?

I'm sure it wont be a huge smashing success but having somewhere we could post buy/sell/trade for small things just like that would be pretty cool. I'm pretty sure I have games I no longer want and people would be interested in them and so on. The in store places you can go to sell back used things rape you in the ass, and the online ones aren't much better. I'd much rather deal across the community rather than the guys at the local Hastings. I do not have access to a Gamestop any longer here on campus, and it's a better deal anyway if you could just do a swap with someone 1 for 1 usually.

Would be good to be able to post up DVDs, Games, books and MMO accounts. I understand the lack of a legally binding system other than virtually signing a piece of paper but I'm pretty sure some system could be worked out.

Best bet is selling them online, none of the retailers who take dvd trades will give you much for them cash or credit.

Remember, Walmart sells most old movies new at $5.50. Then they have the 3 for $10 bins around a lot too. Even Target now has a huge $5.50 rack.

Also, a swap idea is good! Worse thing could happen is noone wants it, personally I have been looking for Advance Wars Dual Strike for the DS, we have 2 need 1 more so all 3 boys can play it, and I have yet to find it round here in a resale shop.

I think thats a smashing idea Givin... I got a buncha shit somebody may want.

As for the DvDs - yeah I don't expect a lot for them - I was thinking if we got 1-3$ each we would be doing good.

I think DVDs are like diamonds - once you buy them, you cant sell them for jack shit. A few of them are already for sale here - I wanted to see if they would fetch anything on eBay.

*cough* shipping *cough*

No offense - but my time to get the packaging, pack them up and haul them to the post office is worth more than a dollar (neesha).

Don't forget pay pal would take out a nice little chunk too.

I will probably ship them all off to the media exchange 123 - I googled it a few times and only found one gig against them on the RIPOFF report. They offer free shipping and pay what looks like an average of 2-3 a movie.

I appreciate the offers, but with shipping involved its really not worth it (to make 50cents a movie). Media mail isn't that much but I have to buy the envelopes (or boxes in caks case). And spend my time+gas getting shit together to ship out.

On a side note if you want to offer a more reasonable price feel free to get ahold of me.

Ok, I have had a few inquires about these movies - I scooted over to MX123 and got a quote on some random movies - It looks like they are going to offer (on average) $2.00 a movie (and free shipping) . I mailed out a move today and it cost me $1.64(not counting the envelope) - Anyhoo, if you are interested in single movies, they will be $4.00 each (I pay shipping). If you want a bundle of movies(5 or more), they will be $3.00 each (I pay Shipping)

If you want to buy the lot of them it will be $299 dollars for 111 movies. I will pay the shipping.

I am going to hold them till Monday of next week.
