What's your forecase for the Western Conference Finals, Krby?

Personally, I can't believe that either team is there. LA is the 8 seed and I believe that PHX has been doing it with smoke and mirrors all year long. Yeah they won their division but and only finished 2 points ahead of LA in 8th. They never seemed like the better team on the ice, but they kept putting up points at the right time. LA is hot right now and has the better net-minder in Quick (and he is hot right now) I don't see how PHX can beat LA.

I think LA will win in 5 unless they feel that they have already won it because they have beaten the #1 and #2 teams in the West

Not looking good for your boys Josh.

It's hard to believe someone as old as Brodeur can still tend goal the way he does.

Conference Finals - LA over PHX, NJ over NY

And ouch, that looked like it hurt on Zidlicky.

Sucks that the Flyers could not make a huge comeback in the series. I'm hoping the Rangers finish off the Caps tonight!

Rangers could not finish the deal and there will be a game 7 now! I'm still hoping NY wins the series over the Caps.

if I were a fan of either LA or PHX I would be deeply worried about the possibility of facing Washington. Ovi seems to be on a mission.

Caps would be the best matchup for LA in my eyes. The Kings have had their number for the last 5+ years, and I would love to see Holtby give up a ton of goals too! I can't stand that guy

The Kings WTF owned the Coyotes tonight, and it should had been a SO for LA too. I guess Quick felt bad for Phx and gave them two free gift goals lol. I don't think that will happen again tho!

Yeah, if LA wins game 2...this series will be very short indeed

The Kings are playing out of their minds. Quick let those two slip, but he has been ridiculous this entire playoff season.

Kings win game 2 with a nice SO for Quick. I would not be surprised if LA finishes off the Coyotes in LA. After tonight's game, they might be down Doan and Hanzal. Also, I HATE Mike Smith after tonight's game too. POS loser

Yeah, that was cheap. If LA continues playing like they are, I don't like any teams chances against them.

The Kings win game 3 and go for the sweep on Sunday! They are now 11-1 in the playoffs amazing. I think the extra rest will be a big bonus for LA for the Stanley Cup Final starting in a few weeks, or so.

Because the Eastern Conference Finals is going to be a fist fight of a series. Who ever wins, will be beat up and tired compared to LA

I want the Kings to TAKE Kovalchuk's head off, and make him cry like a little bitch he is!!! Fuck him and the Devils! Fucking cocky pos Kovalchuk. Can't wait for you to be crying like the asshole you are.

Kings will win this series in 6 games. If LA wins the first two games on the road, I think the Kings can finish the Devils and their cry baby bitch Kovalchuk in 5 games!

Go Kings Go and let's win the Cup baby :blob4:

I think you and I are the only ones left discussing this. Taliesn left as soon as the Flyers got their asses handed to them. :D

I like the Devils and I'd like to see them win the cup, but I think your choice of Kings in 6 is probably spot on.

this is a tough one for me, I don't like LA and there is nothing worth rooting for to ever come out of Jersey.

LA is playing too good right now, just gotta hope the extra few days off didn't let the fire burn out.

The Kings win game won and keep setting new NHL records for most road game wins in a row! Good game and I think LA was a tad on the rusty side tonight. I'm hoping for a big win on Sat, and head back to LA up 2-0 in the series!

Sucks that it is the Kings (I guess that is better than New Jersey), but if they get to hoist The Cup and you are there enjoy it.

yeah the only thing sweeter (for a fan) than watching your team win the championship is watching it in person.

I will admit that I have had a pretty good run lately:

Pittsburgh Steelers - Super Bowl XL and XLIII (runner up in XLV)
Dallas Mavericks - runner up in 2006 and championship in 2011
St. Louis Cardinals - World Series Champions 2006 and 2011

Enjoy the game

There will be a game 6 tomorrow! And the Kings need to finish the series on home ice. Because a game 7 is anyone's chance and it will be tough to win on the road. Even tho the Kings are awesome away, but it's different when you "have" to win the game.

Let's see what happens tonight but LA needs to win their first Cup. To be soo close, and not seal the deal...us fans might not be able to handle it haha

I don't like or watch hockey at all except a little during stanley cup finals, but I swear I've never seen a bigger quitter tan the Kovalchuk guy from NJ, every game I ever watched of him when things go bad he skates half ass mopes around and takes large stretches of the game off.

Kovalchuk sucked for a good amount of the playoffs, but I heard he was hurt and under a good amount of pain since round 1. Maybe that is why he was having issues skating and playing hard

Also, I was at the Dodgers game last night because the Kings were there with the Stanley Cup! It was pretty cool and the Angels won the game. Making it even better :D

Heh, I'm proud to see Flyers West..errm, I mean the Kings win a Cup finally ;) No, seriously, I'm glad they won one. The rode a streaking goalie and an amazing core all the way in. I don't see them repeating this, as this team has Blackhawks written all over them, however I do see them making the playoffs consistently the next few years.

I am, however, very happy to see Carter, Richards, Gagne, Williams (to a lesser degree the underperforming loser fuck) John Stevens and most importantly, Ron Hextall lifting a cup.
