I joined an adult indoor soccer league here in the ATL area. It's been about 15 years since I played but I used to play soccer at a pretty high level when I was a teenager. Anyways, the field here is a curious non-astro turf fake grass, and we're not allowed to wear cleats. So I'm curious if any of you have played or at least can recommend a good shoe to wear for this. There are actual indoor soccer shoes, but some are used for hardcourt indoor soccer (which is what I played when I lived in Pennsylvania about 20 years ago).
I know nothing about sports shoes, so if the best shoe really is something suitable to a hardcourt, as well, that would be great, as I play Racquetball at the company gym a few days a week and my old sneakers suck.
On a side note, the players I saw on the web site from some of the teams look like an all-star cast of 70s pornstar rejects, complete with the white-man afro. Should be fun
