Car Ramrod goes down tonight! So I can re-take my rightful spot at #1.

Thanks goes out to all the little people that helped make this happen.

I need Brees and Pierre Thomas to not be awesome tonight, combining for less than 40 points and I can win this week. Eli Manning is a huge disappointment for me.

Yeah, looks like I am about to have my first loss. You still get points for the worst personnel move in the league this year though, moving Collins into your lineup against me. :)

I'm in the position of having to root against Atlanta (my home team) in tonight's game in order to have a chance of winning.

I didnt have a choice. He was the only starting QB available at the time.

WHo'd a thunk the fuck would wind up with NEGATIVE POINTS!!

I'd have been better off not having a QB that week....

I sure hope that Kubiak doesn't become a Shanahan clone and keep all of us guessing as to who is RB is of the week. Slaton is too good to be benching him the entire game- I know he is having some fumble issues, but that game killed me! Those yards and those TD's that Moats got *could* have been Slaton's...

I like the benching. Cool. But for the whole darn game? Geez. Maybe a couple series, a half... but not the whole game. So now he needs to come out and say if Slaton is the starter or Moats is. I am sure a lot of fantasy Slaton owners are wondering where the heck this is going :)

And of course Derf picks up Moats like an hour or two before I was going to :mumum:

Top eight make the playoffs. Playoffs are week 14, 15, & 16. Jox with one more win you will have locked a playoff spot. Currently Frib is in 8th place with four reg. season games left.

Tiebreaker system:
If, at the end of the season, two or more teams in a non-division league finish with the same overall record, the following system will be used to break the tie:

1. Overall winning percentage.
2. Fantasy points scored.
3. Fantasy points scored in Week 17.
4. Fantasy points scored in Week 16.
5. Fantasy points scored in Week 15.
6. Fantasy points scored in Week 14.
7. Fantasy points scored in Week 13.
8. Fantasy points scored in Week 12.
9. Fantasy points scored in Week 11.
10. Fantasy points scored in Week 10.
11. Fantasy points scored in Week 9.
12. Fantasy points scored in Week 8.
13. Fantasy points scored in Week 7.
14. Fantasy points scored in Week 6.
15. Fantasy points scored in Week 5.
16. Fantasy points scored in Week 4.
17. Fantasy points scored in Week 3.
18. Fantasy points scored in Week 2.
19. Fantasy points scored in Week 1.

Looking to make some trade moves. Hit me up if I got a player(s) you want. Already got a few trade offers out there being ignored. If you don't like, tell me why, I'll see if I can't come correct.

Sorry Surcam, I just couldn't see myself giving up brady for what you offered. I'm definitely weak in the RB area, but what you offered didn't seem to be enough.

Ya the 2 trades Ive offered to people have just been ignored. It would be nice if people would at least turn them down so we know you've seen them.

I considered the one you offered me. I haven't turned it down because it's not horrible and I'm debating what I want to do. Not sure what you offered me is the answer, but I'm unlikely to get a much better offer I think.

There's also the fact that I'm playing for pride at this point and I don't want to be the guy who unloads all his players. I'm a little more wary of trading for that reason.

I wouldn't count myself out yet Zat. You're an extreme longshot yeah, but you gotta hold on to that homie, keep that fire. :) You're 3 games out of the 8th spot with 4 weeks to go, and you got the point total to leapfrog, it's possible. :)

As to an explanation for those that haven't noticed. He drafted poorly by not being there and hasn't managed his team the last couple of weeks. When asked about it he said after the crappy draft and poor play he gave up.

I really thought this week would be a win for me, but it's looking like I'm not going to make it. Who knew a Cleveland Brown receiver was going to do 30+ fantasy points this week? ugh.

That's Calvin Johnson, and he doesn't play for Cleveland. And he's one of the top 4 wide recievers in the league. Who could have guessed?

Congratulations Fribur! For all intensive purposes, you are in the playoffs. Unless Crosby goes ridiculous tomorrow night and the Vikings D cannot get any sort of points... you are fine. Xantheus, unfortunately, is going to be the odd man out- unless Fitzgerald is held to no points, and Donald Lee decides to get like 25 points tomorrow. Probably not going to happen :)

Which comes down to myself and Smashing. I win, I am in and have a seventh seed. I lose, then Fribur and Smashing are neck and neck to see who finishes 7th and 8th. Right now Shiancoe just scored, so I am down 13 points. I still have Hightower and Shiancoe tonight, and Rice and Packers D tomorrow... while Smashing has Ravens D tomorrow. It is actually pretty entertaining, not usually in this position where I have to have worry about whether I am in the playoffs or not. Some added drama!

I'm pretty sure you're going to beat me this week Cicely, so gratz on making it. Injuries have killed me the last two years. Last year it was Brady and this year it's Westbrook, oh well, that's a big part of it. I mismanaged one game this year as well. That win could have really helped.

Again, gratz on making it to the playoffs. :santa:

Actually tonight's game is going to have far more an impact than what I originally thought. Fribur is only up by 11 or so- a kicker could get that with a couple field goals and a TD or two. Green Bay does have a pretty potent offense, and they are capable of getting points on the board. And Baltimore's defense could stop some TD which sets up field goals- hence, hurting Fribur.

And even though I am only down like 7 to Jateki... he does have the Baltimore defense. If Baltimore puts a spanking on Green Bay (which BTW doesn't have much of an offensive line, which could lead to sacks and INT) then his defensive points are going up while my GB defense is going down.

I *should* win, but with a Monday Night game you just never know.

This is the first season I can recall where so many teams' future is decided on the final game of the regular season (fantasy wise)! Heck if Fribur loses then that puts Xantheus in the playoffs, so I am sure he is going to become the biggest Crosby fan tonight :)

Crosby kicks four field goals tonight, Xan- you are in playoffs. Which theoretically is possible, considering Green Bay has the type of offense to move down the field... and Baltimore has the type of defense to stop teams inside the red zone and force them to kick a field goal. I am just saying you still have a realistic chance, albiet slim.

unless the recount changes things, here are the final standings:
Code:
1 - Car Ramrod (10-3; 1260.16)
2 - Derf's Angry Rangers (10-3; 1194.02)
3 - Surcam's Stances (9-4; 1218.66)
4 - Depx's Iksars (9-4; 1205.60)
5 - Java4Blood (8-5;1245.92)
6 - Power Rush (8-5; 1208.24)
7 - Magicians R Us (7-6;1291.90)
8 - Friblets (7-6; 1173.24)

I am happy to make the playoffs. Every year in this league I have a good team coming out of the draft yet I have injuries kill me.

Not sure if Yahoo just hasn't updated yet, but when I just checked (2:30am MST) they had myself and Xantheus making the playoffs- he was seventh, I was eighth. They had their playoff bracket to reflect this; however, none of the week 12 games were updated with the points from last night.

Take this for whatever it is worth. But I know that Crosby only needed 11 points or so for Xan to win, and not all field goals are worth 3 points- some are worth 4. So maybe he kicks two 4 point field goals, and the three extra points... there is 11. And I don't even know if I won- Rice, from my calculations, only had like 8.6 fantasy points last night, and both defenses I saw had some sacks/interceptions. I think I did, but will not make sure until I see the points updated.

Looks like I caught Yahoo in the middle of adding up everything. Seems like the final numbers are what was posted a few posts ago. It was close though- Xan missed the playoffs by less than two points. One more Crosby field goal...

Good luck to all in the playoffs!

Tight league again this year. 15 out of 16 teams broke 1k total points. Looks like only shaaz really dropped the ball. I don't even feel all that screwed about missing the playoffs anymore, as I would have barely snuck in on points anyway. Definitely a competitive year. Good luck with the playoffs guys!

This seemed to me the most competitive year so far. Either we all are improving, or we all (for the most part) are doing what we have to do each week and not giving up.

It's too soon to say for sure, but I could be heading for a big upset.

Bobblehead doll, here I come! :)

Ray Rice sitting out the whole 2nd half is probably going to cost me a chance at $1900.

Yeah, lol. I sit #1 basically all season long and Fribur has a receiver who ties an NFL record and gets a billion points. Bad luck. I thought I was golden for sure with Brady's injury.

In other news, my chance at $1900 still remains - thanks to DeSean Jackson!

Well, I made it to my Super Bowl. I just need to avoid any ridiculous weather in Green Bay so Mr. Rodgers can work his fantasy magic again next week against Seattle.

Congratulations Depx's Iksars! Unless Favre has a 53 point fantasy night tomorrow, looks like you are the champion this year!

Post a picture of the bobblehead :)

Thanks, I think I should retire at this point having won the last two Lanys leagues, and the last two Lanys baseball leagues we did. I wasn't sure about beating Surcam, but ATL defense ended up being a super pick up for the week, and everyone else pretty much played as well as advertised, even with Pierre sitting out the 2nd half of his game. No word on the bobblehead yet, I'm guessing they are waiting to finalize stats before getting to that. Not sure how they will contact me about it, I'd assume email, but I'll keep my eyes open.
