Skycrasher leaves Phoenix.

Cardinals win playoff games, host NFC Championship Game.

Coincidence?

But seriously, lots of excitement down here. Will admit that they definitely did not catch Carolina playing Carolina football. I mean seriously, Delhomme with six turnovers? Fox deciding to abandon the run all together? Maybe bye weeks are overrated... or rather, hot teams are more important than having a week off.

I am predicting an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl. I am not yet ready to jump on the Cardinals bandwagon just yet, and it has nothing to do with the Thanksgiving debacle (that was more McNabb getting pissed off that he was benched and taking it out on the Cardinals than anything else). Just really am liking Jim Johnson's defense a lot more. McNabb and Reid have been here before, they know what to do to get it done. But should be an interesting game nevertheless.

Would be something to see Whisenhunt play his former team (Steelers) where he coached most of those offensive players only two years ago in the Super Bowl. Some really good storylines for any of the matchups really, except probably Cardinals-Ravens would be relatively boring.

didn't someone in the predictions thread say that the Steelers would suck this year?

(and yes I thought the Ravens would be horrible, I didn't think that they'd have an amazing season with a rookie QB, rookie head coach, aged RB, and many injuries last year)

How horrible would the Super Bowl be if it were Arizona vs Baltimore? Yeah, you'd have the "immovable object vs the unstoppable force" buildup, but the Raven's Defense would eat Kurt Warner alive. It would be as close to a public murder as you could get on television.

As a Steeler fan, I really hope that the Steeler running game can execute like it has in the last two games. I think that is their only chance of holding off the Ravens for the third time. This game really worries me.
