Call me a bandwagoner. I never understood the point of rooting for a perennial loser.
I grew up a Browns fan, hating Cinci. My freshman year in college they went to Baltimore. Living in Cincinnati, I just started following the Bengals, been doing so for 7-8 years. I always rooted against the Steelers.
But, being an AFC North guy, if the Browns and Bengals were out of it, I rooted for the Steelers.
The Bengals are such horrible, horrible ass matter that I can't follow them. I'm getting raped on my season tickets this year. I couldn't even sell my opening day tickets for face value.
So, I have Big Ben and Fast Willie on my fantasy team this year.
Fuck it, I'm officially a Steelers fan.
