...and will they do even worse than Miami did last year...

I am thinking KC or Atlanta will be at the bottom of the food chain this year.

Any other Picks?

The Miami Dolphins will be this year's Miami Dolphins. But yea, Atlanta is a good pick, too.

Miami should win 5 games this year.
Baltimore has the potential to be worse than that.
Atlanta might win 3

Baltimore still has a defense. Miami has no defense and... Chad Pennington.

Rams are gonna stink, but not no one will be as bad as Miami was last year, not even Miami.

Heh half the "experts" are predicting a division championship for Arizona. But OK, maybe they will go 0-16!!

No team will go winless in a year. It is just too damn hard to do. Yeah there are some crappy teams out there (KC, Atlanta, Miami) but they all have at least two games on their schedule that should be winnable. I think the worst record will be 3-13 this year, in my opinion.

What gets me, and I know it is just the year that they play the appropriate division... but last year, New England went 16-0 and they get rewarded this year by having the easiest schedule in the league (opponents last year- .379). Again, I know they have to play their own division and the weak NFC West... but still, that just doesn't seem right to go from undefeated regular season to playing the easiest schedule out there /shrug.

Huh? The Steelers are the favorites to win their division, unless you're buying into Brown's hype. Worse case scenario they only win 6 games, but they sure in hell won't be a 1-3 win team.

I go with the Rams.

Just to reflect...

Browns looked terrible.
Bengals and Ravens took turns looking terrible.
Steelers owned.

Lots of playing left, but looking like a bad year (again) to live in Cinci.

And my prediction of the Rams sucking - looking pretty good :)

Who would have thought that Carson Palmer would go 10-25 for 99 yards in a game? His pathetic play might cost me a week 1 fantasy victory :mumum:

Cowboys looked great today. Very excited for this season.

Panthers pulled a W out of nowhere too, that last play was sweet. Cardinals pulled out a W too. Good start.

Come on, you can't blame Palmer... first 3 plays:
1. Run for loss
2. Sacked
3. Sacked

He was on his ass or throwing into coverage all day.
Palmer may not be a Hall of Fame quarterback, but it is sad to see such a great talent on such a piece of shit team.

I am not blaming Palmer per se... just shocked that his stat line was so horrific. I did not watch the game, so no idea if it was him that sucked or the offensive line that sucked, or the entire team. I blame the team, and the bottom line is that you don't draft Palmer fantasy-wise for 10-25 and 99 yards passing games :mumum:

Hopefully this won't be a trend, but rather an anamoly. I picked up Cassel tonight before anyone else, so if Palmer continues to put up these horrible lines... at least Cassel is serviceable. I hope.

I can see the Chiefs getting close to a run at 1 or 2 wins.

/wave Cucullin

It amazes me at how pathetic and non-competitive some of these teams are. And usually it is just one team that is horrific... but this year, there are at least three that are just not even close. Rams, Lions, Chiefs (not necessarily in that order). I mean I heard on the radio that in three games, Rams have been outscored 116-29. That is like an average of 38-10 per game. It is not even close to competitive...

I still think those three teams *have* to win at least one game. The Lions do have offensive talent, so hopefully one game Kitna won't throw four interceptions and they can win. The Rams... on paper they have Bulger and Holt and Jackson. You would think that trio should be good for at least a victory. The Chiefs... ummm.... uhhh..... Herm Edwards is a good football coach and he can motivate his team.

YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!

I am really not living up to my rep here. I am possibly OK on the Miami one, I am dead wrong on Atlanta.

The Chiefs injured Tom Brady. They already won the season. They can lose all 16 games and still be a winner in my book.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

Steelers are lucky to break .500 this season. This is what happens when you ignore your most pressing need (O-Line) and draft positions you already have in spades (RB, WR).

6 sacks in the first half for Big Ben. I know teams who don't have 6 sacks on the season yet.

Funny... just a couple years ago, the AFC North looked like one of the toughest divisions in football.

Now, it's arguably the worse.
