Thanks to those of you that stayed active all year. It was close for the last couple of months between myself and Abq, but I pulled away in the end. Hopefully we get more than 6 teams next year.

I finally took care of this heh. Since I was the one that did it last year it gave me the option of setting it up exactly the same as last year and to send invites to all of last years teams. I deselected teams that I remembered not doing anything, but the rest of you that were in it probably got an invite by email. Anyone new needs to go to http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1 and join a custom league with info below -

Should all be the same as last year and noone was bothered with last years settings so we should be good to go. Draft is set for 11am EDT Sat the 29th, hopefully everyone can make it. Was about the same time and day last year I think and most said that was fine.

been playing Fantasy Baseball for years in th ESPN leagues, always active, and won the championship

2 out of the last 4 years, always roto league never head to head.

if somehow you end up rescheduling the draft lemme know .

Only 6 teams thus far. Would be nice to get at least 4 more. It's a pretty casual league, so new players would be welcome, if any of you reading this wants to give fantasy baseball a shot. You don't have to know anything about it to start(I certainly didn't last year) just remain somewhat active as the year goes by.

I do fantasy football, but I won't participate in this one; baseball is boring as hell to watch, IMO, and I don't want to keep track of it for the next 6 months.

Heh, I came in second last year and I didn't watch a single baseball game until the playoffs. I follow baseball through the sports pages. /nod

Could still use 2 teams, would like 4 more, draft is tomorrow morning, and cant really be changed to a later date heh.

At this point I'm sort of debating asking some non lanys friends to see what they say. I don't know if I could get any to play, but a 6 team league is sort of a waste. If worst came to worst, I would rather all 6 of us drafted 2 teams and just disallowed trades. At least the talent pool would be spread out reasonably that way.

I dunno. I was looking forward to this league kinda, too.

It drafted you two SS in the first two rounds, that's decent? It's doesn't really matter though, because I owned all you not-showing-up fools in this draft for a league that no one will play or care about. I was completely surprised (not really) that's last year's number overall pick in our league went undrafted this year. Poor Jason Varitek.

Heh, it will be stuck in my yahoo teams and I can't get rid of it, so I'll look at it off and on throughout the year. If anyone bothers to actually manage their team they should win in a landslide though. Heh, the free agent pool is ridiculous. You can totally stream pretty much any position for max innings and dominate the league. If anyone wants a free trophy for their Yahoo profile, this could be the ticket!

seeing as both of those SS are 4 category players then yeah I'd say decent is pretty fair assesment

but hey what would I know only won 7 ESPN fantasy baseball leagues in 11 years.

I am done with Fantasy Baseball. I don't have the time needed to field a competitive team
