Wow, wonder why they had to take em down.
Quote:
Goodbye Ampex2000 and the Chris Berman vids. ESPN contacted YouTube yesterday afternoon to remove the clips and the video sharing site has responded with their removal. From Scott's Shots via SBD....
ESPN VP/PR Josh Krulewitz, in an e-mail, indicated that ESPN has "contacted YouTube and asked that the videos" of Chris Berman off-air on the set of "MNF" be removed from the site. Krulewitz, said, "We routinely request content to be taken down from YouTube and did in this case. The copyright is owned by our company." He added the videos are "now nearly a decade old and do not reflect [Berman's] typical workplace demeanor"
And with that the videos are gone and more than likely Ampex2000's YouTube account is gone for good (you can just sign up for another one Ampex). I honestly can't believe that they didn't take this approach sooner. They probably could have stopped videos #2-6 from ever hitting the Internet, but I'm glad they didn't
