One of the great characters (and holder of 16 rings...) in basketball's history passed away this evening, as a Celtics fan this is very sad news indeed. RIP Red, at least you don't have to live to see Telfair arrested for murder during a game. :evil:

I have tickets for opening night and the 2nd game of the season, hopefully he'll get the salute he deserves.
