Never played the series, but picked this one up. German game that is a mix between simcity and civilization. After getting over the disgust of the obvious political slant the game comes off having at first, I'm enjoying it a lot.

Anyone else playing?

Had no problem with the eco message, it was how it was portrayed. Eco faction are dirty haired love bunnies and the corporate guys are mean to be mean. Was just odd.

Civ 5 did lean away from eco and religion this time round.
