I've just read the interview and seen the trailer. And I'm drooling right now over this "reboot" of the franchise. It's going to be set in the year 3015 inner sphere mechs only with what sounds like a persistent world. You would get a mech which you would specialize in a la MMO. So if you were to be using a Stinger you would be better in it as opposed to just jumping into a different mech. Well anyways here's a link to the interview and the trailer.

It's pretty boring, even for an open beta. 5 maps and 2 game types. After 500 kills it's the same old crap all the time. Their netcode still blows.
