Wasn't sure if anyone here was a fan of the MechWarrior games, before Microsoft ruined it. I recently found a website that has all the Mech Commander games available to download, as well as some user generated content, even has an online community for the few that like to play online still.

How did Microsoft ruin Mechwarrior? Didn't they put out the games that the website you've linked to is supporting? I've got MechCommander 2, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Microsoft put out Mech Commander 2, and the single player isnt that bad at all. I played MC online for a long time though, when they released MC2 it killed what was left of the community, most people continued to play MC or MC gold. Microprose put out MC and MCG.
