For some reason Valve has two things labeled steamid in steam. Your login name and your displayed steamid these are the same thing unless you change your displayed steamid. When you are searching for someone and they have changed their display name occasionally they wont pop up, I'm not sure exactly what causes this but it makes it a hassle to try to find and invite people. If anyone has posted their name here and not gotten an invite to the Lanys Community group do a search for "Lanys" and the group will pop up. You can find me there as North00 with the same avatar picture that I use here. Send me a message and I'll toss you an invite. |
