What I find very strange is that if you do a search for "Guatemala sink hole" on youtube, you get video footage of a helicopter flying over an almost identical sink hole...in 2007.

It looks unreal to me. No rubble at the bottom, just blackness, the smoothness of the edges (most sink holes tend to look almost like fault lines)....and then to have two identical circular ones in intersections? Bizarre.

Those are awesome.... I want to know what's down there. Maybe they are black at the bottom because it opens into an underground cavern?

Would make sense as I think they are usually like limestone or some softer rock eroded from the bottom up? Has anyone seen if they say how deep it is? Looks almost bottomless.

There is one in ummm Africa? Maybe? That is so deep with a downdraft you can't fly over it.
