Is it substantially better or different than it has been?

Did you like links 2004?

It's a lot like that. I haven't played a tiger woods game before.

I think I've played the new Tiger game every other year since they started being Tiger games in what, 2002? I honestly didn't know new Links games came out since the PC versions for Windows 95.

oh, well.

I think the gameplay is pretty awesome. The swing meter is really well executed, as is the general aiming of your shots.

The ramping difficulty of the big tournaments (or maybe it was just me) was a little hard to swallow. Finishing day one of the Masters at 12 under par, Day 2 at 1 under par, and Day 3 at 8 over was a little ridiculous.

Are you playing with Kinect? Wondered how they would fix the problem of not having a thing you control and also having to be shoulders square to the TV.

I am not.

To quoth reviewers: "the kinect controls are bullshit"

I do not like kinect controls for games that don't require it, they're not build around motion.

I like some golf series, but I have never given Tiger Woods PGA a try tho. Do people play thru whole games online btw? haha Golf tends to be a slow paced game, and I can see online matches taking forever to finish

A full 18 holes by yourself tends to take about a half hour. I haven't played online with anyone yet, but I imagine that it would take about 45 minutes for a full 18 holes.

The online tournaments are good for that though, since you just enter, play through, and wait for the tournament to be over to see how you placed.
