Have not played my 360 in several months. Decided to turn it on the other day to play some Modern Warfare 2 and such. However my controller would not turn on. I tried roommate's battery- it worked, so I figured it was the battery pack. Fine, no worries.

So I put the battery pack on the dual charger that I have (Microsoft one)... and nothing. No lights, nothing that says it is charging. I tried the roommate's battery in each section- saw the red light come on to show it was charging (or green light, sorry forgot color).

I am assuming the battery is 100% destroyed and I have to buy a new one. But I am asking if there is any chance of me doing something to get it to be able to charge again? Anything I can do to get it to charge again, or is it gone?

They eventually do go out. I'm kind of surprised that yours died so fast, but it does happen. Invest in some SANYO Eneloop batteries.

That happened to me and I cleaned the contacts off with alcohol and q-tips, even though they didn't appear very dirty. It worked and was easy, so worth a shot.
