Picked this up yesterday, about 5 hours into it atm. So far it is amazing. It takes the foundation from AC1 and just builds so much further on that. Theres a bunch of different mission types, and although the missions seems fairly linear you still have a ton of freedom between memories to do your thing.
Theres now money in game, which you gain by completing missions, pickpocketing people or looting dead bodies. Fairly early into the game you also get to play a town building mini game, where you spend money to repair your familys town and in turn you gain money every 20min deposited into a chest. Theres also blacksmiths that sell armor you can wear, and weapons as well. After a while of fighting or falling off buildings your armor will degrade and you have to have it repaired by the smiths. There are now tailors in as well, you can dye your armor in pre set color patterns depending on the region you're in at the time. Art dealers in game sell you paintings for your mansion and treasure maps (theres tons of chests filled with money hidden in the cities similar to flags) that show you where chests are.
Story is awesome so far, lots of conspiracy and cover ups by the templars, you're sort of a lone assassin trying to avenge your family.
10/10, its just getting better and better.
