They had a chance to redeem themselves with Fable 2, but all it was was Fable 1.2 (Fable 1 Lost Chapters was 1.1). The DLC (all 3) were fucking worthless and a waste of money.

They need to take the entire idea of Fable back to formula. Open World Free Roaming game does mean "Open World except 90% of the game is still scripted linear crap" forcing you to do what we want you to do.

I'm playing through Fable 2 now. Seems good... especially for a rental :)

Fable2 was good for about 2/3rd of the game, the last 1/3rd was "ok, in this far, might as well finish it" grindfest of annoyances. The ending leaves much to be desired as well. Fable3 is completely off my give-a-shit list. Luckily I didn't bother with the dlc.
