Going to go get it today after a feast of Chinese food. Can't go wrong with Gears of War + Ghostbusters. I'll tell you how fucking awesome it is after I get home.

No multiplayer on PC version I heard, and the PS3 version has some slowdown issues. Some say the Wii version is so dumbed down it's a big of a difference as Dead Rising and Chop Till You Drop was. But you get to proton pack with the wiimote and sling it to drop the trap.

Gonna be bustin ghosts on Xbox Live tonight after it comes back up woo.

Also I and II out on Blu Ray. Happy 25th Ghostbusters!

Screenshots of this game look awesome. I'm curious how the gameplay will be.

Another Ps3 game with slowdown issues? Blugh...I may just pick up a 360 for the hell of it soon.

It's an insanely fun game. It's another 10 hour playthrough with very little replay value, but man, it is so fun. They really really really really did a great job in recreating the Ghostbusters experience. Not the Ghostbusters 2 experience.

It is essentially Gears of Ghostbusters. You are the rookie ghostbuster who just joined the team and they jump you in. You bust ghosts with the bros It's not really a complicated game, which is one great point about it. Point proton beam, zap ghost, wrangle ghost, trap.

Fun as fuck.

People cry and bitch about innovation this and that. Here we just see that they tried to create a fun game. And it worked.

The voice acting is great, everybody except for Moranis and Weaver came back to do the voiceovers. The script is hilarity.

Rent it if you don't want to spend 60 bucks on a 10 hour play-through, but do play it one way or another if you just want a great story action game.

This game rocks your fucking face. I'm paying for it just to support the devs on this one. Looks phenomenal on the PC. I'll pick it up for 360 for the mp.

Yeah, I'll pick up a 360 version as a rental. Sounds like a good time.

Honestly I think the MP might be the best part of this game, so I think I'll just buy the 360 version.

Can't the PC version be patched for Multi-player?

The single player game is just hands down awesome, the gameplay, characters, voice acting, settings, ambiance all top notch.

The multi-player is pretty fun too, just a small annoyance in that there's no persistent lobbies, always have to re-create / re-invite after every match if you're playing with friends. I also feel a little cheated by the "campaign" multiplayer, I had assumed this meant you could play through the single player game with up to 3 friends co-op but "campaign" mode just means they string together 3 different types of multi-player "jobs" together on a set of maps. It does however work well in it varies up the gameplay with one group of people.

Then the question on all of our minds is why someone would WANT to own a Wii!

A great majority of people who own one from here probably let the hype influence their decision. ;)

The rest of us probably got one for the same reason we got every other Nintendo console before the Wii. =P

Just picked up the Wii version on sale for $35. Worth giving it a shot at that price.

Besides the differences in graphics and the controls, it looks like the gameplay is basically the same as the other platforms.

I'll have to try it when I get home.

I've enjoyed the game... wasn't sure about dusting off the franchise and making a game, but they did it well.. I love the occasional zingers as well.
